Dans la performance TRACES Wim Vandekeybus revient sur ses traces. Il revient sur les intuitions qui ont donné naissance à sa recherche. C’est l’exploration des traces de la nature que le corps a oubliées. Dans les moments de risque et de danger, la décision intuitive de survivre. Que reste-t-il de la nature dans l’homme ? Que lui reste-t-il d’animal? 

Le dimanche 11 juillet, TRACES joue au festival Schrit_tmacher à Heerlen, aux Pays-Bas. En préparation du spectacle, l'équipe de TRACES descendra dans la rue le 10 juillet pour une répétition en plein air. Profitez de la répétition à partir de 16h à la Rue de l'Intendant.

In de voorstelling TRACES volgt Wim Vandekeybus de sporen die hij heeft getrokken. Hij kijkt terug naar de intuïties van waaruit zijn zoektocht begon. Het is een zoektocht naar de sporen van de natuur die het lichaam is vergeten. In momenten van risico en gevaar, van intuïtief beslissen om te overleven. Hoeveel natuur leeft er nog in de mens? Hoeveel dier? 

Op zondag 11 juli speelt TRACES op het Schrit_tmacher festival in Heerlen, Nederland. Ter voorbereiding, trekt de ploeg van TRACES op 10 juli de straat op voor een vertoning van enkele fragmenten uit de voorstelling. Geniet mee van deze vertoning in open lucht vanaf 16u in de Opzichterstraat.

In TRACES, Wim Vandekeybus follows the traces he has left. He looks back on the intuitions from whence his search began: to the drama of impulses and instincts; to the game of energies and intensities. It is a search for traces of nature that the body has forgotten or repressed. How much nature still lives in human mankind? How much animal in the human body? What happens when at risk or in danger, when we have to take intuitive decisions to survive? 

On Sunday 11 July, TRACES will play at the Schrit_tmacher festival in Heerlen, the Netherlands. In preparation, the team of TRACES will take to the streets on July 10th to perform some excerpts from the performance. Enjoy this open-air performance from 4 pm in the Rue de l'Intendant / Opzichterstraat.
