Deux corps, ondulant à travers l’espace qui les accueille, générant des motifs d’action et de réaction uniques, naturellement entrelacés. Ces motifs trouvent leur inspiration parmi les mouvements naturels du lierre et autres lianes. Le lierre est un symbole de transformation, d’adaptation ainsi que d’interconnexion avec son environnement. A l’aide d’un morceau de bois emprunté au sol de la forêt, nous souhaitons réexaminer les idées d’équilibre, de lumière et pénombre, de diversité, et de frontières.

Twee lichamen, geweven doorheen de ruimte die hen herbergt, genereren unieke en natuurlijk verstrengelde patronen van actie en reactie die geïnspireerd zijn door de bewegingspatronen en eigenschappen van klimop en soortgelijke planten. De klimop is een symbool van transformatie, aanpassing en verbondenheid met zijn omgeving. Met behulp van een houten staf, geleend van de bosbodem, proberen we ideeën over balans, licht en donker, diversiteit en grens omver te werpen en opnieuw te onderzoeken.

Two bodies, weaving through the space that hosts them, generating unique and naturally entangled patterns of action and reaction that take inspiration from the movement patterns and properties of the common ivy and similar vines. The ivy is a symbol of transformation, adaptation and interconnectedness with its environment. Using a wooden staff, borrowed from the forest floor, we look to overturn and re-examine ideas of balance, light & dark, diversity, and boundary.
